Flash fiction is popular because it can express deep truths and universal emotions in a few short sentences. Flash fiction may expose important truths and resonate with many people.
The inner critic is a psychological term that refers to a part of your psyche that assesses or denigrates yourself and your work. The inner critic is often characterized as having a loud, booming voice. Or as assertively informing you that you are incorrect or should not have begun. It’s the voice that makes you feel tiny, inadequate, and suffocated.
Writing a book seems to be on everyone’s bucket list these days, but very few actually finish their book or manage to fulfill other writing dreams. Many writers fail because they do not know how to set effective writing goals and how to develop an action plan.
Writer’s block is the state of being unable to write, and/or the inability to write something new. Some believe it’s a genuine disorder, while others believe it’s “all in your head.” Regardless, we can all agree writer’s block is a painful condition that’s often difficult to overcome.
As an Author and Editor, I find joy in helping other writers make their babies come to life as I was able to do myself. There are times when I am so engulfed in an editing project that I cannot work on my writing, but that doesn’t mean that another author’s success has to sting. Remember, we’re all in this together – that’s why something like #WritingCommunity exists.

I’m afraid there’s no right answer to get started as a writer. Each writer comes to fiction in their own way. Whatever draws you to a good story—a gut-wrenching plot twist, a heroic protagonist, a likable villain, a happy ending—is great because it helps keep your passion for storytelling alive. But when it comes to the actual writing, the composition, and craft, all the supposed experts in the field disagree on the right approach.
The hardest part of writing a book is always the first few pages. No matter how strong your motivation or how compelling the topic, motivating yourself to start is a large task. Here is how I do it:
You will learn everything you need to know about editing a book. From how much of an edit you need to do, the things that need to be edited, and even the tools you should employ to make your edits successful. In addition, you will learn about what you should do before sending your manuscript away for review to raise the chances of successful publication.
Inspiration comes and inspiration goes. Unfortunately, it’s’ the going that causes the problem. Writing good material isn’t just about grammar and technicalities, it’s also about creative writing. Several exercises can spark creative writing and improve readability.
